This post is not just another long and boring Worldwide Brands review – I'm going to talk about that directory but also compare it to it's main competitor, Salehoo, in detail.

Worldwide Brands and Salehoo are both directories of certified drop shippers, wholesalers and manufacturers that charge a fee for membership.  They both have around 8,000 suppliers listed form around the world and they are both long established – Worldwide Brands was founded in 1999 and Salehoo in 2005.

The membership fees differ though – while Salehoo costs $67 per year, Worldwide Brands charges $249 for lifetime membership.  So, while Salehoo starts off cheaper, Worldwide Brands works out to be better value for money in the long term – after about four years of membership.

Although both directories come with extras includeing forum access, support and market research tools (which can be very useful), only Salehoo comes with basic tutorials as standard.  They are basic though – and both directories charge extra or detailed or advanced tutorials.

The most important difference between the two directories though is the number of products listed from their suppliers.  Although both Worldwide Brands and Salehoo have about the same number of wholesalers and drop shippers, Worldwide Brands has many more products – 16 million compared to Salehoo's 2.5 million.
